How The AI Barn makes money
Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date]
The short version
Some pages on this site contain affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up or buy, the company may pay us a commission. Any page with affiliate links is labelled “Ad” at the top, before the first link, and affiliate buttons are marked “(Ad)”.
Why we label pages “Ad”
In the UK, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the CAP Code treat affiliate content as advertising, so it must be obviously identifiable as an ad. A clear “Ad” label at the start is how we do that. You can read the ASA’s guidance at asa.org.uk.
Our rules
[PLACEHOLDER: Check each rule below matches how you actually work before publishing, and edit or delete any that don't.]
- We only review tools we have used ourselves.
- Companies cannot pay for a better score, and they do not see reviews before they are published.
- We recommend tools without affiliate programmes when they are the better choice.
- Reality-check articles never contain affiliate links.
- We show the date we last checked prices, and update reviews when things change.
- If we are ever given a free account, a sponsorship or a gift, we say so on that page.
Affiliate programmes we belong to
[PLACEHOLDER: List the programmes once you are approved, e.g. the tool name and the network it runs through.]
